Doctor Who Season 9 Episode 13 The Christmas Special

You must be very excited in this all new episode of Doctor Who. What happened here is that, there is a significant subset of Whovians who are, shall we all say, not fans of Clara Oswald, claiming that her turn as Companion transformed Doctor Who else into The Clara Oswald Present. Turns out, they're in fact not far wrong, from an in-universe perspective. At some level, I was honestly frustrated by this episode. Check out the summary for this episode.

Synopsis: Meeting on the show between Peter Capaldi and Alex Kingston, and it’s fair to say that she does not respond particularly well to the “River” name. As a matter of fact, she comes with a rather interesting threat involving removing the Doctor’s organs … which he responds to in the most hilarious way possible.

Given the huge role that Gallifrey has played in the Doctor's backstory, especially since the return of Doctor Who also in 2005, I was seriously hoping to have an story that focused on the Doctor and his return home, which had been his goal since The Time of the Doctor.
