Lola and Mary have a heart-to-heart talk in which the Queen tells Lola she thinks Narcisse framed Catherine in order to become the regent of France. Check this summary for this episode:

Mary must marry again in order to help Scotland, whose welfare she has to prioritize over her heart. Meanwhile, Catherine is accused of poisoning Francis, but Mary believes Catherine is being framed by Narcisse, who's angling to become Regent of France.

Viewers may recall that in episode 7, Catherine was accused of poisoning her son, the late King Francis. Lola is shocked when she hears that Mary thinks her husband would frame Catherine for power. Of course, viewers of "Reign" know that there's nothing shocking in power-hungry Narcisse framing an innocent person for murder. Reign season 3 returns on Friday, Jan. 22, 2016 on the CW.
