Based on the news release, Buy Now, Die Later will revolve around 5 characters utilizing the 5 senses. Odie played by Vhong Navarro will tackle the sense of sight, Rayver Cruz, who plays Ato, will need on the sense of taste. Alex Gonzaga, who plays Chloe, will concentrate on the sense of hearing. The film is about a compendium of five interrelated stories brought together by the proprietor of a curio shop selling unusual items. Santi (portrayed by TJ Trinidad), who says the role is kind of demonic. Each of the character’s story is weaved around the five senses – sense of sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste.
Vhong described Alex as a wacky person. Both have known one another even before Alex entered showbiz, as Alex's sister Toni caused Vhong in the comedic-news program, Wazzup from 2004-2007.
